In this magical musical adventure, Charlie and his fellow ticket-holders encounter incredible wonders—an edible candy garden, chocolate waterfalls, nutty squirrels, and Oompa Loompas—while learning valuable lessons along the way. But as the other children give in to their worst impulses, only Charlie proves himself worthy of Wonka’s greatest prize.Based on the famous novel by Roald Dahl, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory also pays homage to the 1971 film with songs from the motion picture including "Candy Man," "I've Got a Golden Ticket," "Oompa Loompa Song," and "Pure Imagination."With dazzling songs, larger-than-life characters, and a world of wonder, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a deliciously fun experience for the whole family!
Seating is assigned and reserved. Doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain and performances are at the La Pine High School Auditorium. The run time is approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes including a 15 minute intermission. Tickets are $10 for Students (18 and under) and $12 for Adults. All proceeds from ticket sales go towards the La Pine High Theatre Department.
